Winter impressions from Bonn's city park
Heavy snowfall transformed Bonn into a winter wonderland. I took my camera and captured some frosty moments in the local city park.

My name is Heiko, I am a wildlife photographer based in Bonn, Germany.
I have been taking photographs for more than twelve years now. However, I discovered my passion for wildlife photography only a few years ago during my travels to the other side of the world.
Animals that I had previously only seen in documentaries I now saw with my own eyes. It is always incredible to dive into the fascinating animal world, to experience unique moments and to capture them with my camera. You get to know the world from a different perspective and in doing so I realise again and again how worthy of protection this world actually is.

Donation for conservation
Part of my profits goes as a donation to selected conservation organisations. This year I support the rainforest conservation projects run by OroVerde. I did my federal voluntary service there in 2021 and 2022.
