Where the Journey Began

Koala sits on an Eukalyptus tree in the woods on Magnetic Island, Queensland, Australia.

It all started in 2019 on the red dusty tracks of Australia. Armed with a camera and a 30-liter backpack, I landed in Sydney with no fixed itinerary, just a desire to explore. While the continent offers iconic landscapes, I quickly found myself drawn to something deeper: the unique, endemic wildlife.

Documenting koalas, kangaroos, and platypuses shifted my perspective entirely. I didn’t just want to take pictures; I wanted to understand animal behavior, respect their habitats, and tell their untold stories through my lens.

African Savannas & Conservation

My passion soon led me to Africa, a continent that changed my approach to photography forever. Near South Africa’s Kruger National Park, I completed a wildlife photography internship focused on conservation. Working alongside experienced mentors, I documented critically endangered black rhinos to help track and protect them from poaching.

In Kenya, I experienced the raw, quiet magic of the savanna. Sitting motionless as a herd of zebras grazed just meters away in the fading golden light reminded me why I do this. It’s an indescribable feeling of connection, one that requires immense patience and complete respect for the animals' space.

Wilderness on My Doorstep

The “Rheinaue” city park in Bonn, covered by a thin layer of snow in the winter of 2024.

You don’t always need to cross the globe to witness the wonders of nature. Back home in Bonn, Germany, I spend countlessly early mornings in local forests and nature reserves across Europe.

Photographing native species requires a different kind of stealth and devotion. Whether tracking deer in misty German woodlands or observing birdlife along European rivers, capturing the quiet beauty of our home ecosystem is just as vital to my mission as exploring distant continents.

Ethics, Conservation & Fine Art

Hanging high-quality wildlife prints on your own four walls opens a window into another world.

Respect for nature always comes first. I never bait, distress, or disturb animals for a photo. My goal is to capture genuine, wild moments in their purest form.

Through my photographs, I want to invite people to reconnect with nature and realize how fragile these ecosystems are. To bring these moments to life, I offer tailored, custom Fine-Art Prints printed on museum-quality paper, as well as my annual Wildlife Calendar.

Every print on your wall is a daily reminder of the wild beauty our planet has to offer, and a commitment to protecting it.
